1 in 5 women and 1 in 71 men will be a victim of sexual assault in their lifetime.
1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men are victims of domestic abuse.

In Brown County, victims can find safety and support from agencies like Sexual Assault Center Family Services and Golden House. In 2016 alone, the Sexual Assault Center Family Services comforted almost 1000 victims in Brown County and more than 1200 victims of domestic abuse found safety and support with Golden House.

You Can Help
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is the international men's march to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence. In Green Bay, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes benefits Golden House and Sexual Assault Center of Family Services as they raise awareness of and work to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault.

By participating in Walk A Mile In Her Shoes, men and women of all ages stand against this violence in our community. They show their support for victims and educate the community on preventing domestic abuse and sexual assault.
